Reliable sealing starts with clearly defined mating dimensions, operating conditions and acceptance criteria.
Weldo reviews manufacturability against the drawing. Final sealing performance and application validation remain the customer’s responsibility.
Identify the media, temperature, pressure and whether the seal is static, reciprocating or rotary.
Define shaft, bore, groove, compression target and extrusion gap.
Specify diameters, thickness, datums, roundness, flatness, finish, chamfers and radii.
Account for creep, recovery, moisture and thermal change, with conditioning requirements stated where needed.
