Project Questions

What information is required for a custom flange quote?
Provide the drawing, material, quantity, flange standard or finished dimensions, sealing face and inspection requirements.
Can custom bolt patterns and sealing grooves be machined?
Yes. Bolt circles, nonstandard hole patterns, RTJ grooves, threads, steps and counterbores are machined from the approved drawing.
How is flange sealing-face quality controlled?
Face geometry, flatness, runout and roughness are checked with methods matched to the drawing and gasket requirement.
Can an existing flange design be modified?
Existing designs can be reviewed for bore changes, bolt-pattern changes, added ports or sealing features when adequate material remains.
Can inspection reports and material records be supplied?
Requested material, heat-treatment and dimensional records should be listed before quotation so they are included in the production route.
