Drawing-based aerospace manufacturing
Aerospace Industry CNC Machining Services
Precision machining for aircraft, UAV, avionics and propulsion components with drawing, material, tolerance and inspection review before quotation.
- Drawing-defined tolerances
- Prototype to repeat orders
- DFM and inspection review
Tolerance capability is confirmed feature by feature after drawing, process and inspection review.
Engineering requirements
Control the Features That Affect Part Function
Aerospace projects require clear drawing control, suitable material, stable machining and inspection matched to each critical feature.
Контроль размеров
Datum strategy, feature relationships and inspection methods are defined from the drawing.
Material Integrity
The specified grade, condition and documentation requirements are reviewed before production.
Сложная геометрия
Multi-axis machining supports thin ribs, deep pockets, compound angles and limited-access features.
Планирование инспекций
Critical dimensions, surface requirements and requested records are agreed before machining.

Common Aerospace Parts We Machine
- Structural brackets and ribs
- Avionics housings and heat sinks
- Hydraulic and pneumatic manifolds
- Landing-gear links and bushings
- Sensor and camera mounts
- UAV frames and motor mounts
- Engine accessory housings
- Shafts, spacers and fittings
Manufacturing routes
Выберите процесс, исходя из чертежа
Only the operations required for geometry, material, finish and inspection are included in the production route.
| Tolerance Item | Basis |
|---|---|
| Drawing tolerances | Specified dimensions, GD&T and datums take priority. |
| General tolerances | Agreed ISO 2768-1 class when specified. |
| Limits and fits | ISO 286 or the drawing's stated system. |
| Геометрические допуски | ISO 1101 or ASME Y14.5 as specified. |
| Critical features | Quoted after process and inspection review. |
±0.005 mm is not a general part tolerance; it applies only to approved features under suitable manufacturing and inspection conditions.
Aerospace materials
Materials for Aerospace Industry Components
Final selection must match load, temperature, corrosion exposure, weight, fatigue, traceability and finishing requirements.
| Семейство материалов | Common Grades and Applications |
|---|---|
| Алюминий | 2024, 6061, 7075 — structures, brackets and housings. |
| Титан | Grade 2, Grade 5 — lightweight, corrosion-resistant parts. |
| Нержавеющая сталь | 304, 316, 17-4 PH — fittings, housings and shafts. |
| Alloy & Tool Steel | 4140, 4340 — high-load parts and tooling. |
| Никелевые сплавы | Inconel 625, 718 — heat-resistant components. |
| Инженерные полимеры | PEEK, PTFE, PA — insulators, seals and bushings. |

Защита поверхности
Finishes for Aerospace Parts
Machined finish, anodizing, bead blasting and powder coating are selected by substrate compatibility, coating buildup, wear, corrosion, electrical contact and masking requirements.

Aerospace project assurance
Меры контроля качества, обеспечивающие надежность поставок
Drawing review, controlled production and documented inspection reduce risk from prototype approval through repeat orders.
- Контроль чертежей и их пересмотр
- Контроль размеров на КИМ
- Calibrated measuring equipment
- Сертификаты на материалы, если это предусмотрено
- Отчеты по первым изделиям по запросу
- Finish and final inspection records

Buyer questions
Aerospace CNC Machining FAQs
Concise answers to the files, tolerances, materials, records and repeat-order controls buyers review before quotation.
What files are needed for an aerospace machining quote?
Send a STEP model and controlled 2D drawing showing material, datums, tolerances, finish, quantity, revision and inspection requirements.
How are aerospace CNC machining tolerances determined?
Drawing dimensions and GD&T control acceptance. Untoleranced dimensions may use an agreed ISO 2768-1 class, fits may use ISO 286, and geometric controls may use ISO 1101 or ASME Y14.5. Tight tolerances are quoted only for identified features after process and measurement review.
Can titanium and Inconel aerospace parts be machined?
Yes, subject to review of the exact grade, stock form, geometry, heat control, tooling and inspection route.
Can first-article and inspection records be supplied?
Customer-defined first-article, dimensional, material and finish records can be planned when the required format is specified before quotation. AS9102 compliance must be reviewed and accepted in writing.
How are repeat aerospace orders controlled?
Approved programs, fixtures, inspection points and drawing revisions are checked against current purchase requirements before production.
